After-school Art Classes
Open to 1st through 5th graders, our art classes involve studying various artists and experimenting with many different types of mediums. We have a creative atmosphere and we encourage fun while exploring the world of art! Pick from Monday or Wednesday classes, which are held from 4:15-5:45PM on both days.

Holidays and weather cancellations: We follow the DeSoto County Schools calendar. If they are out of school for a holiday or dismiss early that day due to weather, we WILL NOT have class that afternoon. If there is a Monday holiday, there will be no Wednesday class.
Stay in the loop: Please join our Class Remind for updates! You will be sent a link by the first class. At the conclusion of our spring semester, we host the annual SPRING ART SHOW! This is for our artists to exhibit the works they've created throughout the semester. Sometimes, we keep projects after class so there will be some art show "surprises." This is a great time to invite family to come visit our historic building and see the beautiful artwork of our talented artists. |
Field Trips

Students and teachers can unleash their creative sides while we guide them through their own art project!
What will we do on our field trip? We can introduce a famous artist to your students or do a project relating to a unit you are studying. Projects will be done on a 12x18 watercolor paper and matted OR on an 11x14 stretched canvas. Field trips last approximately two hours, and our earliest start time is 9:15am. For an additional $60, students can participate in a large group canvas painting that you can hang in your school or classroom. This can be done on one ~24x36 canvas. Larger canvas pricing will vary. |

How much does it cost? Price is $15 per student. Pricing is adjusted for groups of less than 18 students. (Subject to change with the new school year)
How many students can attend? Please limit each group to approx 24 students. The number of your students can determine the number of field trip days needed.
